Who knows about CO Worker Compensation and can offer professional advice?
I reported worker compensation injury back in April. I was off work one month and on work restrictions but working since. The Dr advised I should reach Max Medical Improvement within 3-6 weeks. The diagnosis is epicondilitis of my right elbow. Upper extremity trauma, for my shoulder. I have tried to call every lawyer in the phone book for my area and they mostly say that can’t take the case due to it being an extremity. Has anyone gone through the MMI exam? What was it like? What happens after that? Does the employer automatically let you go? Any idea, or experience with this type of injury and how the rating turned out, or what happened with your future financial situation? Do you get money from the state? Do you apply for Unemployment? Do you apply for Social security disability? With my restrictions, I am thinking it may be difficult, and the economy to find another job that I can do?
Did it not occur to you to say where you live?
