i settled my claim in nov.2006 but not seen any money yet.settled for $15,000.00 and i need $10,000.00 now.where can i borrow the money.i live in south hill,va.someone please help.

In most states it is against the law to lend money on worker’s comp awards. It may even invalidate them.
Ask your lawyer to speed up the insurance company. Even if you found someone to lend on the award, the costs will be high.
If you have to borrow, use your personal credit if it’s good enough. You should be able to borrow $10000 for 60 days from a local bank with no problems.
