You have a couple of options. The Illinois Industrial Commission has a website at http://www.state.il.us/agency/iic/email.htm – to contact someone who may be able to answer questions, go to the above site & click on “Contact Information”, then “Administrative Staff”, then go to near the bottom right hand side of the screen & click on “Information Unit”.
IF the person in the Information Unit is not able to help, try asking if they have an Ombudsman & get that contact information.
You could contact an attorney who specializes in workers comp claims.
