my feet hurt at work I stand for 9 hours a day?
My feet hurt I have new shoes and dr sholls and stand on rubber mats at my job in california. I am at a computer all day and have to stand it sucks. Is there a way i can make my work let me have a stool? dr note?

If you feel there is an underlying medical condition here…go to
your Dr. If there is a medical reason for your symptom…you file a
first report of injury with your employer, the employer files with
the WC carrier and your medical will be provided up to 10K during
the first 90 days investigation period. If your Dr feels there is
industrial causation to your condition..you CANNOT pay for the
treatment, your employer/carrier MUST be billed for any services
provided. More to your situation that a request for a stool. Go to
the doctor, not a message board.
Sometimes feet can hurt because of having a hard time trying to adjust to the shoes especially if the size is too small.
In order to have a stool to sit you would need to talk to your doctor about this issue and have them evaluate further to see if something else is going on with your feet. I would also recommend a consultation with a foot specialist called a Podiatrist. They can help you try to figure out what’s going on and see if you need more specialized kinds of inserts than the ones made by Dr. Scholls.
