  1. I believe there is one, yes.

  2. Litigation is always the best option. I haven’t worked for many years. I just come up with great scams to get all my stuff for nothing. Of course, I suppose, this does require “creativity” on my part.

  3. I would think that there would be some sort of disability settlement seeing that workmen’s comp is paying for it. Check into your benefits and see if anything is listed there.

  5. No one on a message board can say “no, there is no settlement”. No
one here knows the facts surrounding your injury/claim. Indemnity
awards or settlement in a industrial injury claim are based on the
resulting impairment/permanent disability you have once your
condition is stable and you are declared MMI and rated. If there is
no PPD, there would be NO indemnity award. Awards are paid due to
your reduced earning capacity, or ability to compete in the open
labor market. Not the type of injury, or amount of treatment
provided. There is no money for pain/suffering, lost wages, or
punitive damages in WC. You may be offered a stipend settlement for
your consideration to drop any future claim for benefits in this
claim. Don’t expect much though. Fingers are not generally worth
much, even if a total loss… amputation. Probably about 5K at the
    most.
