Is overtime allowed in NJ if on light duty on workman’s comp?

Need to know if someone is allowed to do overtime on light duty if on workman’s comp in NJ?

  1. if the employer has light duty work available then yes they can allow it.
    employers do not have to make light duty work available but it is generally in their interest to do so.
    there is also the question of if the light duty also has hour restrictions or just job limitations.

    if the doctor has not limited the number of hours then an employer could even mandate overtime as long as the work meets the limits set by the doctor.
