injury settlement. help please!!!!!?
workers comp settlement help pleaseeeeI was diagnosed with HNP Annular tear L5–1 and head concussion. I am still feeling bad with pain but I hate the way workers comp drs are I would preffer treating with my own drs how much do you think my case is worth ?
I have been out of work since November and I have the MRI report. I had an accident last November I was loading a truck. It was not my regular job but there was too much work that the director of that are gave me 4 trucks to load at the same time then under too much stress I fall and my head and back was hurt I had head concussion and herniated disc I was taken to the ER they want to close for 15 k but I am still under pain and This is my MRI Report how much do you think I should settle for I havent been able to work since that day.

You should consult an attorney….if you settle for 15 thousand it wont cover your medical bills if you have problems from this injury later on.
There is no way to determine the value of your claim until you have
completed treatment, and been declared MMI/max medical improvement.
At that point, the indemnity due will be based on the PD rating.
You can’t treat with a Dr of your choice if your employer/carrier
has the right and ability to direct your treatment. Most states
provide for this. There are dispsute resolution process in all
states. SO, IF you would provide your state you could get better
answers to your questions. WC laws are state specific…
Concentrate on recovery from your injury, not how much money you’ll
receive. Know too, you will NOT get near the amount you have in
mind, or what others tell you you’ll get.
