Unbelievable the amount of misinformation and wild accusations
there are out there regarding workers compensation… there is very
little valid information in the responses in this thread.

Apparently your condition was not work related if it was get an attorney if you prevail attorney fees will be included. If in fact it is not work related:
A drastic solution would be to move to another country (if you can) where the health care is free. Canada, England , France to name a few. That is if you cannot get care in the US for free or a reasonable price.

i will make no promise this will work, but this is what the army did for me

there is a brace you wear at night that goes on the front of the leg and holds the foot like you are wearing a boot or shoe

I wore it for the better part of a year and i’m now okay

it may or may not work foryou but they are cheap…..only a few bucks

and yes, it hurts like all get out… i had to run on my feet with that in the army…..

the pain was crippling, I know what you are going through. I did not need the injections and i did soak my feet in epson salts…

Find an attorney who specializes in getting disability claims. File for disability…most people are denied at first but you have to keep pushing and have an attorney. You should qualify…many people are on disability that don’t have nearly the difficulty you’re having.

Yes, get a consultation with a workers comp attorney, see if it is the route to go. Otherwise, you’re looking at needing disability coverage and medicaid. The lawyer will be able to let you know. Good luck to you. I’m recovering from my second surgery on my shoulder from a workers comp injury. I know it can be a pain in the neck.
Oh, and ignorant comments from people like larmarine…ignore them. He is obviously very judgmental and uneducated. You do what you have to to take care of yourself.

Stop crying, if you really wanted to change your situation you would have taken the inciative to get a lawyer and go after the workmans comp for the surgery. Fact is you liked being on workmans comp because you didn’t have to work and could sit back and let your weak mind become dependant on pain meds. Guess what kiddo, time to wake up…life is back and its going to move on, either get on board ar get out of the way.

Sounds like you need to apply for disability and see if you qualify for medicaid so you can get your surgery.
