Every state has their own way of calculating worker's comp benefits. You say you are shooting for lifetime medical. The value is typically determined by the average cost of treatment per year ( at a reduced rate) multiply by your life expectancy. So your age plays a factor. In addition, depending on where your case is located, permanent disability can be rated in various ways. Typically it is either rated by work restrictions or by the impairment guides under the American Medical Association. Good luck. More information is needed.
