Does anyone know anything about workers comp in FL? ?

Can an employer deny you of “medical leave of absence” if your workers comp doctor says absolutely no work. I have been on light duty no more than 5lbs. I sprained my wrist, it’s in the back of my right hand, they said it takes longer for this particular sprain to heal than a regular sprain. It is not getting any better. So, the doctor says no work, rest it and go to physical therapy for 4 weeks. I am right hand dominate. Can the empolyer deny you LOA?
