Can I still settle my workers comp case if I turned it down initially?

I turned down a wc settlement offered friday by the insurance company not knowing it would have actually been beneficial to me.Can I call my lawyer and tell them to settle now?

  1. As long as you didn’t sign anything, your claim is still open – Hey, they may come back & offer you more money!

  2. Change you mind any time before a judge approves the agreement. I
    can tell you though, NO lump sum settlement is in your best
    interests… insurance companies only offer cash payments to close
    a file that fits their needs. YOu should know better than that.
