  2. No… jwishz… that is not true. What is true, is the carrier is
    looking for the IME to say the medical treatment your Dr is
    requesting is not medically necessary to your injury. Because, they
    don’t want to pay for the treatment/surgery. You are NO WHERE NEAR
    a settlement in this claim. And you should NOT be looking to settle
    before you have had the necessary treatment, and reached MMI…and
    been rated for PD/impairment. That is the only way to get a value
    to your award. There is nothing you can do to force a lump sum
    payment to settle this claim.
