Grassley voted against the Udall amendment to the DAB. In other words, he believes the military should be able to indefinitely detain U.S. citizens on U.S. soil for mere suspicion of terrorism. Oh, but don’t worry because I’m sure the government wouldn’t ever abuse this authority (sarcasm). Disgusting that a U.S. senator would do this.
SHAME ON YOU CHUCK for voting on another unconstitutional bill. Government is a JOKE! Why do we even have a constitution???? My rights were not given to me by my government, but by MY CREATOR. You cannot take them away. We will fight back!! You just lost my vote buddy.
I have always held you in very high regard. But your choice to vote for the NDAA is unforgivable. I truely think it is borderline Treason on your part and don’t throw that word around lightly. You are your fellow senators should be ashamed of yourselves. You are playing right in to the terrorists hands by putting targets on your fellow citizens backs from the military globalists agenda. I lost a lot respect for the supposed leaders of our great nation today.
Well to call U.S. military spendings “Defence” is a joke.
The U.S. is systematically attacking other countries, destroying large parts of them and killing 100.000′s of people!
…and these undemocratic and mostly unconstitutional Defense Authorization Bills are making it even worser (and now even for US citizens!).
So of course its important to NOT sign these!
I’ve got a thought, Senator. Why don’t we have the military industrial complex either create some jobs or pay out the Unemployment since War and Unconstitutional Occupation is the GDP of this country? And if 100 Senators are going to sequester themselves from the public domain as the hundreds of billions of borrowed Chinese yen to pay for this Militarization are strapped on to the backs of our grandchildren, the American Dream becomes the CIA’s scheme.
The unemployment rate is getting worse and Washington is clearly refusing to take action now.
