  2. That’s not true,l it is not ”generally one year”. And, Workers
    Compensation is not a civil claim. However, in Calif, you have one
    year from the date f knowledge your injury is industrial to file a
    claim for benefits under your employers plan for work
    injury/illness. The treating physician is also required to file a
    claim if there is knowledge of industrial injury/illness.
