all he has done is switched the burden of paying california employees from the state to the federal gov. Most of these employees will be eligible for food stamps, low earnings unemployment compensation and other federal gov. programs .What did he accomplish besides sending the bill for california state employees to the federal gov.? more of your conservative tax dollars going to the state you hate, and would love to see fail
cut pay to minimum wage $7.25 per hour

  3. He already cut some of them last year – I know cuz my son father is a government worker in California and I had to listen to him scream and B*tch about it!

  4. Yes… the employees cut and/or laid off would be eligible for UI
benefits. The sate doesn’t have enough money to pay those UI
benefits, so they borrow from the feds…what people don’t realize
is those UI dollars must be repaid on the schedule as determined by
the feds when they make the ”loan”, when the money is not repaid
on time… there are NO MORE dollars available to borrow from the
feds. UI stops with ”cash” benefits, and goed to a voucher
system. NO ONE must agree to accept any voucher as they are not
enforceable as a check drawn on a bank would be. The state doesn’t
have the power to print more money… California CAN go bankrupt,
very possibly will in the not too distant future. Besides that,
since this thread started… Arnolds actions have been challenged
in court, and he lost. All those employees ended up having there
wages reimbursed, so they all enjoyed “vacation days” at the cost
to the taxpayer. Damn good thing Arnold can’t run again… and
should be deported, even if only to Nevada.
