All states have different laws but a settlement should contain payment for future medical, lost wages, out of pocket expenses that you may have incurred, and degree of disability related to the injury, it is not possible to guess an amount and your lawyer would be in the best position to know the value of your claim.~
There are many factors that should be included in the amount of the settlement. A lot of it depends on your income and the severity of the injury. The settlement is basically a payment for future medical costs and lost wages. How much work will you be able to perform in the future? Will you have to change the field in which you work? Are you totally disabled?
your attorney is the one that will give you the best advice on whether to accept the settlement because he knows the details.
