My mom was badly injured at work(compression fracture). Does anyone know a good worker’s compensation attorney? (In LA area.) I check the www.calbar.org. there are so many worker’s comp lawers, however I am not sure which one is good or bad. Also, somebody recamends me this lawer Sherry Elaine Grant who is in LA area. Does anyone know this attorney?

Thank you very much!
My mom is a domestic helper.

  1. If Mom belonged to a union at work, speak with her union rep. Usually, lawyers give a short, free consultation. Call and ask this lawyer if she offers this service. They will tell you if Mom has a chance of winning her claim.

Good luck to both of you. WC is slow and cheap. I know because I filed a claim and it took years to recoup my lost time.
