DISABILTY.. HURT ON JOB… TERMINATED FROM WORK NEXT DAY…. NEED ADVICE?
Okay im sorry but i am typin with just my left hand.
okay basically i went to vegas to work on a job site for my company while working over there i severly cut 2 fingers on my right hand. i cut threw the nerves and ligaments i was rushed to the ER. They stitched me up an told me i required hand surgery. So i returned to california to my real workplace. So i return an my compant sends me to a clinic so they can confirm the surgery. When i return to my workplace with the paperwork stating i need hand surgery. They terminate me an say its due to economy. i was not the only one terminated that day but i was amazed. So they cut me my last checks. They left me hanging with my workers comp case so i hired a attorney for that case. and hes doing a great job so far he investigated and gots it going. my firgers r in severe pain san my company was in no hurry to get that claim started.
So surgery date not yet given. But surgeon said recovery time will be about 1 and a half years. So its not just a little surgery.
Now i am thinking if i got another case in my hands for wrongful termination. they say i was on the list inadvance but its a little fishy. but the incident happen saturday an i was terminated monday when i return to work.I am put in a real bad position just want to make the best out of my situation.
What Do You Guys Think.

one more thing when i was terminated they offered me to sign a paper that basically said that they would give me a sum of like 650 dollars but by signing i will drop any claims or issues or else wise with the company. i briefly read it and did not sign it i have that doc in my possesion.
Just leave it in your attorney’s hands. They’ll know the best thing to do. You are totally due compensation though! Good luck!
