It is NOT counted against your FMLA, that is an illegal act.
The FMLA entitles you to up to 6 months unpaid leave to deal with a family medical issues, including your own or your immediate family.
If you are injured at work, you are covered by Worker’s Compensation rules, which allow you unlimited PAID leave (as confirmed by a doctor) as long as you are unable to to work.
They can’t do that. FMLA is for family emergencies and you do not get paid for it. FLA does NOT cover work related injuries, that is what worker compenssation insurance is supposed to do. If they try to do demand this from you and you hurt yourself, signn nothing and contact a lawyer. What they are trying to is absolve any injuries from the company.
FMLA is unpaid leave. The only thing it does is protect you from losing your job if you need to be out of work due to a family issue.
Workers Compensation pays your expenses and possibly some lost wages when you are injured on the job and have to miss work. It has nothing to do with FMLA.
Either you or the company you work for is confused.
The family Medical Leave Act is unconstitutional (prove me wrong with the section of the Constitution that allows it). A work related injury is covered by state laws.
there is no such game as All-Pro Football 2K8 ,anyone have a
suggestion of a similar game?. I have a Xbox 360 Console.
The FMLA is not unconstutional… that’s bs. Show us a law that
says it is. you are ”outtolunch”… way out. The employer IS
permitted to run your FMLA concurrently with a WC/injury leave once
you are notified, in writing. Must be in writing. They cannot
backdate the FMLA leave. And, FMLA provides ONLY up to 12 weeks of
job protection, NOT 6 months as has been stated here. Again, bs. WC
pays wage replacement benefits, TTD, while you cannot work due to
your injury. FMLA is unpaid leave. Beyond that, your question is
too broad.
I am looking forward to reading more from you in the near future.
I have to say I am impressed with your blog and I will save its RSS
