When i arrived at work i was told to start cleaning the windows and when i was done with that to pick up the gabage off the floor, WTF, I have a brace on my right hand, which by the way i’m right handed, how can they expect me to do this for 8 hrs everyday? Now my shoulder has begun to hurt and i’m in so much pain from the orginal injury is this illegal? HELP?

  1. Be a man, rub some dirt in it!

  2. If it is honestly that bad, then file for Disability.

  3. If your employer cannot provide the light duty work, you would
automatically be returned to a TTD status and be paid those
benefits. The restrictions are on you, not your employer and as
such is it your responsibility to only do those activities, at work
or home, that are within those restrictions. It is not “illegal”
for the employer to do as you are saying here. Go back to your Dr,
and explain the situation, request a return to TTD status. If you
are being denied benefits in this claim, talk to an attorney. A
message board is not a good substitute for legal advice.
