“I was terminated due to an injury recieved during work “
The truth.
You say “yes i was terminited, it was for being injured, which happened at work”………….its pretty simple, just tell the truth.
tell ‘em the truth! doesn’t sound like you were culpable. even, if you made an honest mistake, and caused the accident it shouldn’t affect your employment status. i’ve never met a person who didn’t make a judgmental error!
Why were you terminated for it? Did you do something wrong? Those are questions that interviewers might ask.
And if you did nothing wrong, why were you terminated? Potential employers will probably want to know these things.
The truth would be a good idea….IF you are asked the question.
There are strict guidelines a prospective employer can ask you
before you are offered a job. Why you were seperated from your
previous employement is not one of those quesitons. Nor can you be
asked about any WC claims you may have filed. Only AFTER you have
been offered/accepted employment can any of these questions be
asked of you. Don’t anticipate problems… wait until faced, then
deal with difficulties in your life.
