This November it will be two years since I injured my knee. I was released from the doctor after surgery and a year of physical therapy. The doc. released me with restrictions with no prolonged standing, lifting, standing, squatting, kneeling, and ect…. I’ve been collecting comp(paycheck) which is 80% of my union wage. THe doctor says I’m on borrow time until a knee replacement which Im to young to have done. Right now Im with Vocational Rehibilatation and Michigna Dept. Labor with a case worker. He has been trying to find a job for me that make about the same as my old job. He has already told workers comp that I am and should get schooling. Still havent had any luck with job yet because of my restrictions. The UNION has set me up with a great lawyer. He made an offer less then a year ago of about 200k to workers comp(Accident Fund). Im still collecting a check but HOW LONG WILL THIS GO ON?????? PS. ( This is the husband writting)
This is my husband with the knee injury.

  1. She’ll collect until she’s either fit for work or she finds a job that doesn’t require the physical activity she can’t do.
