Question by Joel F: Lost annual leave entitlement, due to xmas close down. Is this right?
I’am just wondering if anybody knows whether my work can take my days of leave off me for the xmas close down period as they do every year to every one. There is just one difference this year im off work on workers comp, which means my days are covered under the comp so i really shouldn’t lose my leave RIGHT ???
Any help would be great

You should really be talking to a lawyer about this because all companies and states have different laws. Where I live you have to have time saved for the Christmas break, they give you almost 2 weeks for Christmas off and it’s paid, if you have the leave saved up they do not use it and you get paid, if you do not have it saved up then you don’t get paid for it at all…It’s all very complicated…workers comps adds a whole new set of rules as well.
