I used to live in Arizona, 30 miles from the Mexican border. One of the reasons I moved is because of the illegal immigration issue.
Kramer’s take on the anchor babies is entirely correct. The cost to US citizens is growing each year we allow this to happen. .
That, however, is the tip of the iceberg. Arrests, court costs, incarceration, and giving these illegals benefits intended for less fortunate citizens of our country are in the billions.
The week before we left, there was three beheadings in our beautiful Madera Canyon here our family used to hike and picnic. I read last week, the chief of police and his deputy were shot down in Nogales, Sonora, just across the border from Nogales Az. Before we left, I had an illegal try to steal my purse in broad daylight.
And then, there is the load on schools, charities, workers compensation, social security, and our economy. Illegals were given home loans prior to the bank bailout without proper qualifying or checking of employment or legal status. Amnesty to anyone who enters the U.S. illegally should be denied. If their government is corrupt, and their economy is poor, it is the problem of the people in Mexico, not ours. The US cannot afford to save the world. We fight and struggle to keep this country free. I think their interpretation of free needs to be clarified.

Perhaps it is destroying Arizona as he knew it. But the USA is still alive and well.
I lived in Arizona many years ago and if I had bought up previously worthless desert land a few miles outside Tucson or Phoenix, I’d be a zillionaire today. Immigration (legal and illegal) has helped the Arizona economy over all.

I can understand when you mention the load on schools and charities, but how do you know that whoever shot the chief of police was an illegal immigrant?And how do you know that whoever tried to steal your purse was an illegal immigrant? Some people get the misconception that every mexican or hispanic in general is an illegal immigrant and that is not correct.
these people should be removed—-bean by bean—–order re-established, and less persons granted entry into our country until this recession is under control. These pro-illegals and destruction seekers are grasping at straws. Reports come out daily of the FACTS and FIGURES knocking down any claims they have to being beneficial to our country……

Yes illegals are crippling this country – I cannot image how many ANCHOR babies are currently in the system and if and we we reach the point of enforcing our borders and immigration laws – they will all be screaming “What about the families – how can we break up the familes…”
Think about the numbers. Recent estimates states there are about 12 million illegals in the country. So lets say that 6 million are husband and wife – each family unit has at least 3 kids that equals 18 million citizens who are born into our support system. Take the 18 million babies and add the 12 million illegals and you got a shit load of people DRAINING our government – who have paid little if anything into it…seems fair right?
The answer should be if you broke the law to enter the country – you shall receive zero benefits – zero legal status – zero government assistance – I will help you across the border. Once we clean this mess up – we can start to rebuild the country.
As a county 47% of the people pay ZERO Taxes – how much taxes do you think the illegals are paying in their “Cash” society – how many millions are wire transfered to relatives back in Mexico – you can scream all you want – but if WE AMERICAN Citizens don’t start screaming OUR Politicians will make them all LEGAL.

NONE of this story is good. All of this story is bad for Americans. Congress looks at the border from 10,000 feet in an aircraft and they believe they understand the issue. I wonder if they would understand the issues even if they were on ground zero when the purse snatching was attempted.
And that purse snatcher? I would bet a bundle he wanted the purse and money so that he could try and get over the border again. The condition of the towns in Northern Mexico tells a story. The Mexican Government STILL is calling the illegal aliens that get over the border and send money home …. heroes. So those terrible towns in Northern Mexico will be there when amnesty is .imposed. on the American Citizens, and nothing will have been changed.

The Feds KNOW those law enforcement tools in the Schumer Graham Initiative would slow or stop the illegal aliens and they refuse to implement them without an amnesty. While that happens the illegal aliens come on over with forged identities that use OUR identities.

For All who Agree, (There is some truth to his story) Yes the United States government (especially) has a set a laws which is hard to admit yes the illegals broke the law, there not supposed to be in the US. I do believe that they have a right to become residents in due time, but we do forget, they come third world countries and some to political injustice they are here for those reasons.
The most that bothers me its when an illegal alien is a criminal from their own country and enter here to start crime and problems, such as 9/11 bombers and gang members and how this happened then you know what I don’t have the answer, but put two and two together and you see what I mean.

Amnesty is definitely a solution – depends, It help alot of Illegals in the eighties, but it still didn’t solve the problem of immigrants entering the country like it was supposed to.
Personally, I would rather stay and fight instead of fleeing. That said, to each is own. I hear lots of people say that illegal immigrants are not just Hispanic/Latino and they are correct. America has illegal immigrants from all over the world and Americans don’t want illegal immigrants in their country regardless of where they are from. The truth of the matter is, Hispanics and Latinos make up the majority of illegal immigrants in the US and it’s obvious. The majority of the crimes being comitted by illegal immigrants in the US are committed by Hispanics/Latinos. I pick up my local newspaper every morning I what do I read?……..crimes being comitted by Hispanics and Latinos. Yesterday alone, mother drowns baby in toilet and throws baby in dumpster, woman carjacks another women who gets out of her car to help a injured pedestrian on the street, man carjacks woman’s car that has her 3 children inside….all crimes committed by Hispanics/Latinos. Fact of the matter, Hispanics/Latinos, legal or illegal status, are comitting many crimes in the US. I think a direct correlation exists between crime, Hispanic/Latinos, and the influence of illegal immigrant Hispanics/Latinos over Hispanic/Latinos with legal status and vice versa. Afterall, they congregate together. Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, and Santa Ana, CA are perfect examples. Not all Hispanics/Latinos are bad people and that’s not what I’m trying to portray them as. I’m just pointing out what is not difficult to see. So we have a combination of illegal Hispanics/Latinos that billions of dollars are spent on at the expense of the American taxpayer and we have Hispanics/Latinos with legal status harboring these illegals and committing any number of crimes with and without Hispanic/Latino illegal immigrants. It doesn’t suprise me and it shouldn’t suprise you when people assoicate illegal immigration and crimes with Hispanic/Latinos. Face the truth!
