hi my girlfriend works in mcdonald and today she slipped on a tomato, slid across the floor and fell which resulted in her hurting her weak ankle (which she hurt wen she was younger, then accidently kicked a box or somthin wen she was older which reactivated it) she hurt it dat much it really swelled up really quickly, she wasnt on in view of a camera and she wasnt wearin the correct shoes ( leather with good grip) her shoes have good grip there just not leather, there more like plimpsoles, the incodent was recordered in the accident book tho.
so the question im askin is can she recieve any kind of compensasion? we are ment to b movin in togeva thurseday n was savin up money for the deposit and first months rent but if shes off work i cant pay that and support us both also apparently if u try n sue mcdonalds, if u lose they fire u, is that true?

While they will pay for any out of pocket medical expenses, you will not get “pain and suffering” money. You need to check with your local employment dept to find out what the local laws are on being out of work injured and what payments are available if any.

Should have made a report. She should be covered by workman com. Nevertheless just see a doctor and tell them its injured at work. She would be compensate.
I was once out of work for months and i got paid for staying at home and all medical fees covered.
