  1. I am assuming you submitted a WC claim correct? With your type of injury I believe the Orthopedic surgeon will recommend surgery to repair your ACL. Are you happy with your job? Is there some other line of work you’d rather be in? Do you intend on returning to the same job after surgery or is this an opportunity for you to persue another career after you recover with what WC calls retraining or rehabilitation? How is the WC insurance carrier treating you? Are they cooperative? Lots of things to consider. Why not consult an attorney who offers a free consultation and present your situation and get your questions answered. Then you can make a more informed decision about how to proceed?

  2. I guess only if you do not get compensated properly since this is work related.

  3. It depends on your company..are they responsible for making any attempts to reject your claim. If you feel the company you work for has the potential to place you and your welfare in jeopardy, I suggest you at least consult with one…most legit attorneys will do a free consult. If not, move on to another, Placing yourself at risk without legal representation can cause you lifelong problems..an atty will show you how to cover your rear, take pics of the area you were injured in and interview other workers with confidentiality…consult first…then make your decision as an attorney may have inside info in the company you are not privy to!! My best to YOU…
PS: Considering the injury date, I’d hurry!!

  4. ANY time you are injured at work, you should get an attorney just to make certain that you are properly compensated and have access to proper health care.
