Work related injury help! They’ve left me with wanting to quit. Please from the bottom of my heart, help!?

Please help, I’m honestly desperate. I have two part time jobs, one with a major worldly company (seasonal/summer), the other with a only state known company, I injured myself with the worldly known company, & have filed all workers compensations claims, have been seen by their doctors, diagnosed with a problem, & prescribed medication as well as physical therapy. I have done everything they have told me to do, but I have been treated so poorly by the company, day after day, that I want to quit for my own sanity. Can I quit the job where my work related injury occurred & still get my medical needs addressed and covered (paid for) by the company even though I have voluntarily quit? I can’t afford an attorney, & I don’t want the work related injury to cause permanent damage-that’s why I am further seeking medical care after I quit. Can I do this, while still keeping my other job, & successfully continue treatment? Please only knowledgeable help. I am begging you. Thank you <3

  1. I wouldn’t quit because they are responsible for you and if they don’t fix your injury, they will pay out in the end. An adjuster has to see you before your workers comp. case can be resovled. They will ask questions, examine you, assess for injuries and if there is permanent damage to you, they will offer you a settlement. But you don’t have to accept. Also, the case is never closed. Meaning, if the injury causes problems again, it can be reopened at a later date. But, I think there are a lot of attorneys that take on these cases and don’t collect unless they win the cases. I would try talking to some of them with free consultations. But do not quit because you might lose everything. Wait until you get advice from an attorney. For all you know, the company might be trying to make you quit.

  2. work related injury is very serious disorder. it is also called RSI or repetitive strain injury. Most of the employees depends on analgesics and other routine physical therapy interventions like heat, traction , ultrasound etc. But these doesn’t helps u but it hurts more.u have to consult with physiotherapist with experience in RSI prevention and management, RSI specialist or ergonomic specialist . Their treatment approach is entirely different ande it include trigger point therapy, myotherapy, positional relese techniques, conditioning programs, myofascial therapy, ergonomic evaluations like workspace evaluation and personal advices to correct the problems. So i think u must go through these sessions.

  3. GO and talk to an attorney. Now.. there is no cost for
consultation, and IF there is an award/settlement, the atty fee
will come from that. This is not a DIY project, and obviously you
don’t know how to access the benefits you may be entitled to.
    Again…GO TO AN ATTORNEY>
